1) Take the Time

The most important factor, if you are learning Hebrew, is the amount of time you spend immersed in Hebrew. The more time you spend being around the language, the more you will be able to learn.

This means you must spend time reading, writing, speaking, listening and studying different words, phrases and expressions. Spending your time sitting in a language class doodling on a pad will not help you in learning Hebrew.

5) Enjoy Learning Hebrew

Do not panic if you can’t remember words or can’t understand phrases. As you keep learning Hebrew, you will keep improving. You will slowly begin to understand. You will slowly find yourself understanding the people speaking in Hebrew sitting behind you without even trying. Relax and enjoy the time you spend with the language. Watch films in Hebrew that you like. Remember, the more time you spend with Hebrew, the more you will learn.

Learning Hebrew is not difficult. You just need to stay focused and motivated. But you also need to know that it is fine to make mistakes. Surround yourself with the language as often as you can. Just remember, you must focus on learning Hebrew vocabulary first. You can gradually put together Hebrew grammar by yourself from the sentences you have learned. Learning Hebrew words is essential.

Do not worry if it is slow going. Learning Hebrew or any other language does not happen overnight. The key is persistence and staying motivated.
