May 16th: Igor de Souza, University of Chicago PhD Candidate, on‘The First Purpose of this Treatise’: The Equivocal Terms of the Guide for the Perplexed in Some of its Commentaries.”

May 24 – A TUESDAY!: Prof. Michael Fishbane, Nathan Cumming Professor of Jewish Studies in the Divinity School, on TBA

May 30th: Sam Boyd, University of Chicago PhD Candidate in NELC, on “Contact Linguistics and Textual Reuse in the Hebrew Bible: A Socio-Linguistic Examination.”

All events are in Swift Hall, rm. 403, @ 6pm.  ONLY Prof. Fishbane’s event is on a Tuesday, all others are a Monday.
